UP Police Constable starts today, candidates will have to follow these 3 rules!

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is conducting the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam from February 17 to February 18, 2024. Admit cards have already been released on the official website uppbpb.gov.in. Candidates who have not yet downloaded their admit cards can do so through the official website. Here are the guidelines that candidates need to follow at the exam centres:

Exam Details:

There are 150 questions in the exam.

Candidates will be given 2 marks for each correct answer and there will be a loss of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer.

The duration of the exam is two hours.

Candidates must use only black or blue ballpoint pens during the examination.

Entry Instructions:

The gates of the examination centre will be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination and no one will be allowed to enter after that.

Candidates must carry an official photo ID along with the hall ticket for admission.

Only a hard copy of the hall ticket will be accepted.

Safety measures:

The examination will be conducted in two shifts.

The first shift will be from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 3 pm to 5 pm.

The examination paper will have four sections: General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability, and Intelligence and Logical Ability.

Around 1,03,088 candidates will participate in the examination at 47 centres in Gorakhpur district.

Gate closing and examination rules:

The gates of the examination centre will be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination and no candidate will be allowed to enter after that.

The duration of the exam is two hours and candidates will have to answer a total of 150 questions.

Two marks will be given for each correct answer and 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The exam will be conducted on OMR sheets, and candidates should use only black or blue ballpoint pens.

Entry Protocol:

Candidates should remember that entry into the examination centre will be allowed only with the admit card; Photocopies will not be accepted.

Along with the hall ticket, candidates must bring an official photo identity card.

A soft copy of the hall ticket will not be considered valid.

Exam Center Security:

The constable recruitment exam will be monitored through CCTV cameras and the footage will be sent to the central control room.

Strict security measures including scanning for entry have been implemented at the examination centres.
