A large number of candidates will appear for the Uttar Pradesh (UP) board examinations in 2024, with more than 55 lakh students expected to appear. Like previous years, strict security measures will be taken including installation of CCTV cameras at the examination centres. UP Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) is ready to finalize the exam centers by December 10 and after that, the list of exam centers will be released. Let us know when the UP Board 10th and 12th board exam timetable for 2024 will be declared.

According to media reports, once the exam centers are confirmed, UPMSP is expected to release the timetable for UP Board exams 2024 in the last week of December 2023 or the first week of January 2024. Admit cards will be issued to the students after the timetable is released.

How many students will appear in the examination?

A total of 15,71,686 male students and 13,75,638 female students have registered for the UP Board 10th examinations in 2024. Overall, 29,47,324 students will appear for the UP Board 10th exam. A total of 25,60,882 students have registered for the UP Board Intermediate Exam 2023. This includes 14,12,806 boys and 11,48,076 girls students.

It is noteworthy that due to strict security measures at the examination centers, more than 4 lakh students decided not to appear for the board exams this time, including about 2 lakh class 10 students and 2,22,000 class 12 students. The list of examination centers will also be uploaded on the website of the board. After the release of timetables and admit cards, the board will issue guidelines for the examination and it will be mandatory for all the candidates to follow these instructions.
