To promote tourism, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) continuously launches domestic and international tour packages. These packages provide travelers an opportunity to visit tourist destinations as well as religious places. In line with this, IRCTC has now introduced the "North Bharat Devbhoomi Tour Package", which includes a visit to various religious places in North India, through the Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train.

Under this package, travelers will get a chance to visit Haridwar, Rishikesh, Amritsar, Vaishno Devi Temple, and Mathura. The journey of 8 nights and 9 days will start from Pune on 28th October. Passengers can board/deboard at stations including Pune, Lonavala, Karjat, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, and Vadodara. Tour package fare varies depending on the category chosen by the travelers. The starting price for sleeper coach booking is ₹15,300 per person. For the Third AC class, the cost is ₹27,200 per person, and for the Second AC class, it is ₹32,900 per person.
