Luxembourg ranks second in the list of wealthiest countries of 2023. Although it may be slightly behind Ireland, Luxembourg ranks highest when considering GDP per capita. The average annual per capita income in the country is more than Rs 73 lakh. This means that every person in Luxembourg earns more than 20,000 rupees every day.

Norway overtakes Ireland in terms of average annual income. The average annual income here per capita is more than 84,000 US dollars i.e. 69 lakh rupees. Norway has consistently ranked among the wealthiest countries in the world for many years.


Known as one of the biggest tourist destinations globally, Switzerland is also an important financial center. The country benefits from the export of precious metals, machinery, computers, and medical equipment. About 74% of Switzerland's total domestic production comes from the service sector, while 25% is given to industry. The contribution of agriculture is less than 1%. Switzerland has one of the lowest VAT rates in Europe.
