Travel Tips: IRCTC introduces a tour package to visit five states of the Northeast, check the details!

IRCTC has announced a tour package to travel to the northeastern states of the country, full of picturesque and natural beauty. IRCTC has named it the North East Discovery Package. Under the Bharat Gaurav Train Scheme, the company will take the passengers to see the beauty of the North-East. This journey of 14 nights and 15 days will take you to Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura and Meghalaya.
These states of North-East India are called Seven Sisters. Magnificent views, pleasant weather, biodiversity, wildlife, historical places, special culture and happy people are the hallmarks of this place.

How much will it cost
This tour of the North-East will start from Delhi on 16th November. In this tour of 15 days, you will be taken to five states. The price of this tour starts from Rs 75 thousand and goes up to Rs 1.37 lakh. There will be packages of First AC (Coupe), First AC (Cabin), 2AC and 3AC. Your fare will also be decided on this basis.

In this tour package, you will be taken to Guwahati, Naharlagun, Shibsagar Town (capital of Ahom State), Furkating, Kumarghat, Agartala and Dimapur. You can visit many places like Kamakhya Temple, Brahmaputra River, Umananda Temple, Tea Gardens of Jorhat, Gompa Buddha Temple, places associated with Ahom kings, Unakoti, Don Bosco Museum, Cherrapunji and Kaziranga National Park.
