Ingredients for making Punjabi Tadka Dal
Toor dal, gram dal, moong dal, masoor dal, water, finely chopped tomato, onion, garlic, ground ginger, green chili, ghee, clove, cinnamon, cumin, dry red chili, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder Red chili powder, lemon juice, salt, green coriander.


Punjabi Dal Tadka Recipe
Step 1- Take an equal quantity of all the lentils and wash them after picking them well. Then leave it to soak in water for 10 minutes.

Step 2- Now drain the water from the soaked pulses in the pressure cooker and put it in the cooker. Add more water, salt and close the lid of the cooker and cook on low flame on the gas.

Step 3- Switch off the gas after three whistles in the cooker and when the pressure is released, take out the dal from the cooker and separate it.

Step 4- Now put ghee in a hot pan on the gas. When the ghee is heated well, then add cumin seeds, dry red chilies, cinnamon, and cloves and fry them.

Step 5- Now add finely chopped onion and fry till it becomes light golden. Then fry ginger garlic paste and after cooking adds chopped tomatoes and cooks till it becomes soft.

Step 6- Now add garam masala powder, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and fry it well.

Step 7- When all the ingredients are cooked well, add boiled lentils and let them cook for a while. You can also add lemon juice and water as required. After that cook a little more.
