The government runs many schemes for women and girls in different states across the country. There is also a provision of giving incentive amounts on the birth of a girl child in many states of the country, in which some money is given for the future of the girl child.

Even in a state of the country, Rs 30,000 is being deposited in the accounts of two girl children on their birth. This scheme is called Mukhyamantri Balika Sashaktikaran Yojana, which is being implemented by the Government of Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari has increased the amount received under this scheme from Rs 10,000 to Rs 30,000. This amount will be released by the government on the birth of the first and second girl child and subsequent sterilization, which will be deposited in the account of the girls.

Under this, an account will be opened under Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana and Rs 25,000 will be deposited by the government.
