WhatsApp has introduced a new feature for users, which is known as Text Formatting Tool. With the help of this feature, users can use formatting options like bullets, numbers, block quotes, and inline codes while typing in WhatsApp. This text formatting tool is available for Android, Web, iOS, and Mac users, and can be used in individual personal chats as well as group chats. Channel and group admins can also use this feature.

How to use bullets:

Simply use the underscore (_) at the beginning and end of the sentence you want to add a bullet to. Press Enter, and bullets will automatically appear in the next sentence.

How to use numbering:

To activate numbering, type '1'. Where do you want to start the numbering. Press Enter, and the next sentence will start at the next number.

How to use highlighting:

If you want to highlight a word or sentence in a chat or message, use the '>' symbol. To use the shortcuts mentioned here, you will have to use space before and after using them.
