Therefore, this is not a very suitable option for the middle class. That is why they put all their emphasis on admission to a government college based on the ranking of the NEET exam.

According to media reports, if we talk about preparing for the NEET exam, then the fees of coaching centers like Aakash Institute, Allen, and Vidya Mandir Classes range between Rs 1.25 lakh to Rs 4 lakh. This depends on the location of the coaching center, its faculty, etc.

Now if we talk about MBBS fees, then in government colleges this fee ranges from Rs 5,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh per year. Whereas in private colleges it ranges from Rs 12 lakh to Rs 25 lakh. In this way, the minimum cost of becoming a doctor from a government college is Rs 20,000 as tuition fee, while in a private college, this cost is at least Rs 50 lakh.

Due to high fees in India, every year thousands of people from here go to countries like Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, Philippines, Ukraine, and Nepal to study medicine.
