Significant progress has been seen in the teacher recruitment process in Bihar. Last month, 1.22 lakh new teachers were recruited. The candidates selected in this recruitment have personally received the appointment letter from Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. These candidates are required to accept the appointment letter by November 21, 2023.
The list of selected candidates and district allotment list for Bihar teacher recruitment has been released. Selected candidates have been given an opportunity to secure their appointment. According to media reports, the leaves of officers have been cancelled to speed up the appointment process.
Teacher Recruitment in Bihar:
The process of the next phase of teacher recruitment has started in Bihar. According to the notification released by Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), candidates can apply for the recruitment till November 14, 2023. For those wishing to apply with late fees, the application deadline has been extended to November 17, 2023.
Candidates registering for the second phase of teacher recruitment will have to fill out the examination form by 25th November. This time BPSC Secretary Ravi Bhushan has clarified that the last date of application will not be extended. Applicants must apply within the prescribed time limit.
Holidays cancelled:
Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has recruited about 1.10 lakh new teachers. The appointments of all these teachers will be managed by the authorities. According to media reports, to facilitate this, leaves of officers in the Education Department have been cancelled. Regarding this, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, KK Pathak has sent a letter to all the District Magistrates and given instructions.
It has been said in the letter that the joining of teachers will take place only in schools in rural areas. At present no appointments will be made in urban areas. Allocation in schools in rural areas will be randomized through software. District Education Officers have been instructed to make a strategy with the District Education Officers.
