The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the shortlist of candidates for Specialist Officer (SO) interview. Candidates can check the list on the official website ibps.in. Interviews are scheduled to be held in February/March 2024. Only the candidates who successfully qualify for the main examination are eligible to participate in the interview.

Let us tell you that the candidates who were successful in the preliminary examination appeared in the main examination. The main examination for SO was held on January 28, 2024, at designated centres across the country, and the results were declared on February 13, 2024. Through this recruitment process, a total of 1402 vacancies of Specialist Officer posts will be filled in various departments. Selection is based on marks obtained in the main examination and interview.

IBPS SO exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for Scale 1 posts in various departments including IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, Official Language Officer, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer in nationalized banks. The examination consists of three stages: preliminary, main and interview.
