The electricity bill of Mukesh Ambani's house is not 2, 5 or 10 lakhs but this much, knowing this will shock you

Asia's richest man and India's top businessman Mukesh Ambani owns Antilia, one of the world's most expensive and luxurious residential buildings. Located in Mumbai, this 27-storey mansion has many luxurious facilities including a 50-seat theatre, nine high-speed elevators, a swimming pool, three helipads and an air-conditioned garage for 160 cars. The building requires over 600 staff including gardeners, cooks, plumbers and electricians to maintain it.
Owing to its extensive facilities, Antilia's power consumption is staggering. Reports suggest that the power usage at Antilia is equal to the combined consumption of around 7,000 middle-class families in Mumbai. In one month, Antilia consumed around 637,240 units of power, resulting in a bill of around ₹70 lakh. Despite this, the electricity department provided a discount of ₹48,354. The building's energy demand is further amplified by its elevated parking arrangements and massive air conditioning.
The construction of Antilia began in 2004 and was completed in 2010, taking six years to complete. Spread across 400,000 square feet, the building reportedly cost around ₹15,000 crore to build. It offers facilities similar to seven-star and five-star hotels.
Antilia employees are paid attractive salaries, reportedly around ₹2 lakh per month for various roles. Even plumbers get ₹1.5 to ₹2 lakh per month. Apart from their salaries, employees also benefit from perks such as medical allowance and education allowance for their children.
