Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is run in two ways. One is Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin and the other is Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban. Now according to the latest information that has come out, middle class families will also be included in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban. Under this, more than 1 lakh new houses will be constructed in 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
Beneficiaries will be kept in three categories
Under this scheme being run by the Modi government at the center, there will be three categories instead of two. That is, the first EWS, who are counted in the weak income group, their income is less than 3 lakhs per annum. Apart from this, LIG in which the income is less than 6 lakhs, while the third category is the middle class under which the annual income should be less than 9 lakhs.
Houses will be built so big
The size of the houses that will be built under the PM Awas Yojana in Uttar Pradesh will be 300 to 500 square meters. The size of the first category houses will be 300 square meters, while for the LIG category the size will be 400 square meters and the size of the houses or residences built for the MIG category will be 500 square meters.
According to the information received, more houses will be built in the bigger districts of UP while comparatively fewer houses will be built in the smaller districts. A total of 100000 houses will be constructed under the PM Awas Yojana.
2.30 lakh crore rupees will be spent
Under this scheme, the government will spend a total of Rs 2.30 lakh crore to build 1 lakh houses in UP. Along with this, the biggest thing is that this time middle class people will also get the benefit of this.
