Ingredients of Sweet Potato Wedges

  • 3 sweet potatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • ¾ tsp garlic powder
  • ¾ tsp chili flakes
  • 1 ½ tsp oregano
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary or thyme (optional)
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Sweet Potato Wedges

1. Preheat your oven to about 430 degrees F.
2. Wash the sweet potato. Cut them in half and cut each portion into equally sized wedges. Later, dry them thoroughly to make them extra crispy. If you want, you can keep it with its skin too.
3. Put these wedges in olive oil in a big bowl.
4. Mix spices of your choice in a separate bowl.
5. Add seasoning and toss with the wedges in the bowl. There should be a light spice coating on all the wedges.
6. Place these wedges in a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Make sure you keep some space between each piece.
7. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Then turn them over and cook for 10-15 minutes till they turn golden.
8. Serve with tomato ketchup, cheese dip, or chipotle sauce.
