Shri Krishna was born on the Ashtami date of the Krishna Paksha of the Hindu calendar Bhadrapada. It is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Shri Krishna and this time Janmashtami will be celebrated on 30 August 2021. This festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. On this special occasion, people prepare various sweets and dishes to welcome Lord Krishna. That's why today we have brought a special recipe for you i.e. the recipe of Gujarati Mohanthal. Material:

Gram flour – 2 cup

Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp

Milk – Half cup

Almond – Chopped sugar –

1.5 cup

Pistachio – Chopped

Ghee – 3/4 cup

Method:

First of all, you have to take gram flour and sieve it.

After this, put ghee in a pan, heat it lightly and add milk to it.

Now add gram flour and cardamom to it and after that, you have to fry it on low flame till it becomes golden.

Now prepare 2 wire syrup in another vessel.

When the roasted gram flour cools down a bit, then you have to add sugar syrup to it.

After that add milk to it and let it become soft a little.

Now spread this mixture on a plate and add almonds and pistachios on top.

Let it cool down and then cut it into a square shape.

Your Mohanthal is ready.
