Different types of schemes are implemented for people in many states of the country. Some schemes are aimed at the development of a particular section, while others are started to provide facilities to the people. One such scheme which is being discussed a lot at the moment is the "Shri Ram Lalla Darshan Scheme". This scheme had to face challenges in court, hence it is being discussed more. Basically, under this scheme, people are being provided the facility to visit Ram temple in Ayodhya for free.

Allocation for each district:

Shri Ram Lala Darshan Yojana was started by the BJP government of Chhattisgarh. Under this scheme, people from all the districts are being sent to Ayodhya for darshan. The quota for each district has also been fixed. It has been told that most people will be sent from Raipur to Ayodhya. 850 pilgrims will reach Ayodhya on each journey. For this, the Chhattisgarh government has arranged a special train. Different days have been earmarked for different journeys.

Legal Challenge:

On March 5, the first train under the Shri Ram Lalla Darshan Scheme was flagged off. For this, a proposal was passed in the cabinet. Subsequently, a public interest litigation (PIL) was filed in the High Court, stating that the scheme was against secularism. Now the High Court has rejected this petition. After this people will continue to get the benefits of this scheme.

Under Shri Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana, the government is providing free travel facilities to the people from their homes to Ayodhya and back. If someone wants additional features then he has to pay for it. Medical checkups of all passengers will also be done before the journey. The government claims that under this scheme, every year about 20,000 people will be taken to Ayodhya to have the darshan of Ramlala.
