Second Installment Update: The wait of the beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana is over..

Mahtari Vandan Yojana was started for women by the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi. Women of Chhattisgarh get the benefit of this scheme.

In this scheme, women get an amount of Rs 1,000 every month. The government has released the first installment of the scheme. More than 70 lakh women have benefited from this. Today the government will release the second installment of the scheme.

What is Mahtari Vandan Yojana?
Mahtari Vandan Yojana includes all those women who fall in the married, widow, or economically weak category. These women get a benefit of Rs 1,000 every month from the government.

What is the eligibility of the scheme
     Only women residents of Chhattisgarh will get the benefit of the scheme.
     Only married or widowed women can apply.
     The age of the applicant should be between 23 to 60 years.
     The family income of the applicant should be less than Rs 2.2 lakh.

How to apply offline
     Go to your nearest Anganwadi Centre, Panchayat Bhawan, Ward, Women and Child Development Block.
     Take the application form for the scheme from the officer here.
     Fill in all the information in the application form and attach the documents.
     After submitting the form and documents, collect the slip from the officer.

How to apply online
Chhattisgarh state government has created a Google Form to apply for the scheme. Go to the Google Form link and submit the form by filling in all the required information. The form will be verified by the authorities. The applicant after verification will be registered for the scheme.
