10th pass is a very golden opportunity for the youth to get a government job. There are vacancies for constable posts in the police. Application forms for these posts can be filled from March 1, 2024. The last date to apply is 29 March 2024. This recruitment has been done by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board. Apply The official website of WBPRB has invited applications for Constable/Lady Constable posts. Eligible candidates will have to visit the official website of WBPRB prb.wb.gov.in.
The Recruitment Board has invited applications to fill a total of 3734 vacant posts of constable. These posts include 3464 posts of constables and 270 posts of lady constables. Applicants will also be given a chance to make corrections in the application from April 1 to April 7.
Skills required
Candidates applying for constable posts must have passed the secondary examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. The age should be between 18 years to 30 years. Reserved categories OBC, SC and ST have also been given relaxation in the upper age limit as per government rules.
Application Fee: The application fee for all categories except SC/ST (West Bengal only) has been fixed at Rs 170. SC/ST category candidates of West Bengal will have to deposit an application fee of Rs 20.
