In most homes, besan cheela is a common and popular dish, but have you ever eaten aloo cheela (potato pancake)? If not, today we are here to share a delicious recipe with you. This is a great option whenever you need a light snack or want something different for breakfast. People of all ages like it, especially children. To make this, you will need potatoes, corn flour, gram flour, cumin, chopped green onion, green chilli, black pepper powder, oil and salt. The taste increases even more when served with chutney or sauce.

Material:

3-4 potatoes

2 tbsp corn flour

2 tbsp gram flour

1 tsp cumin

2 tbsp chopped green onion

2 green chillies

1/2 tsp black pepper powder

2 tbsp oil

Salt as per taste

Instruction:

-Start by peeling the potatoes. Soak them in water for 10-15 minutes to remove starch.

- Grate the soaked potatoes and squeeze out all the water thoroughly.

-Mix grated potatoes, corn flour and gram flour in a mixing bowl.

-Add cumin, black pepper powder, chopped green onion, green chilli and salt. Mix well.

-If the mixture seems too watery, you can add more gram flour.

Heat a non-stick pan and grease it with oil. Spread the shraan thinly on the pan.

Add a little oil around the edges and cook until golden and crisp on both sides.

Remove the pancakes from the pan and repeat the process for the remaining mixture.
