Recipe Tips: In the month of Sawan, make khoya barfi and offer it to God


The month of Lord Shiva is going on and in this month, you can also make khoya barfi in fruits along with offering food and prasad to Lord Shiva. In such a situation, today we have brought you the recipe for making khoya barfi.


  • 500 grams khoya
  • 250 grams powdered sugar
  • finely chopped cashews and pistachios
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons ghee


First of all, heat ghee in a pan and add khoya to it. You have to mix it until it becomes soft and homogeneous. After this, you have to add sugar powder to it and let it cook on low heat. After this, add cardamom powder to it and keep stirring. Switch off the gas after a while. Now you have to grease a plate with ghee and take out the prepared mixture in it. Spread it evenly and then put cashews and pistachios on it, when it sets, cut it with a knife and eat it.
