You might have eaten Mawa Gujiya to date but this time on Holi, if you want to try something different then you should try Coconut Gujiya. Let us know about its recipe.

Coconut Gujiya Recipe:

-To make Gujiya dough, knead the flour with some oil, baking soda, salt, and lukewarm water until it becomes a smooth dough.

-Cover the dough and keep it aside for 20 minutes.

-Meanwhile, grate the coconut and add powdered sugar, some dry fruits, and cardamom powder to it.

-Once mixed, keep the stuffing aside.

Now divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a small puri.

-Fill each puri with coconut stuffing and seal the edges to give it the shape of a gujiya.

-You can use a Gujiya maker to make the process easier and to give a uniform shape to the Gujiyas.

-Heat ghee in a pan and fry the Gujhiya until it turns golden brown.

-Take out the fried Gujiya from the oil and drain the excess oil on a paper towel.

-Let them cool and serve.
