Today we will share the recipe for making soft and delicious Malai Paneer Kofta which tastes even better than the koftas available in the market. Both adults and children will like this dish. Ingredients for Malai Paneer Kofta:

2 medium-sized boiled potatoes, mashed

20 grams cheese

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ginger paste

2 teaspoons cornflour powder

Instruction:

Mix mashed potatoes, paneer, salt, ginger paste and cornflour powder in a mixing bowl. Mix well.

Shape the mixture into small balls or koftas as per your choice.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium flame. Deep fry the koftas until they become light golden. Remove them and place on a paper towel.

For gravy:

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan.

Add cumin seeds, 2 cardamom pods, 1 clove, 6-7 cashew nuts and 2 teaspoons melon seeds. Fry them lightly in oil.

Add 2 cups chopped tomatoes, 1 green chilli and some chopped coriander leaves.

Add salt and red chilli powder. stir well.

Add half a cup of water, cover and cook until the tomatoes become soft.

Turn off the flame and let the mixture cool. Blend the mixture in a blender until smooth.

Add 1 teaspoon of oil in the same pan. Pour the mixed gravy back into the pan.

Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, kasoori methi and garam masala. stir well.

When the gravy starts boiling, add the koftas in it. Before serving, drizzle some cream or butter on the koftas and garnish with fresh coriander.
