Be it salty or sweet, food lovers are always looking for something new. They want variety in their food. Today we have brought the recipe of Kesar Kheer for you. It is so delicious that even people who generally avoid sweets cannot stop themselves from tasting it. So let us know how you can make it.

Material:

Milk – 1 liter

Rice – 1 cup

Sugar – 1 cup

Almonds – 8-10

Cashews – 8-10

Chopped pistachios – 1 tbsp

Cardamom seeds – 1/2 tsp

Saffron threads (kesar) – 12-15 threads

Recipe:

First of all, clean and wash the rice, then soak it in water for one and a half to two hours.

Finely chop cashews and almonds.

Take a large saucepan, add milk to it and heat it on medium flame.

While heating the milk, keep stirring it occasionally with a large spoon.

When the milk boils, add sugar to it and mix.

Soak saffron threads in a little warm milk in a small bowl and keep aside.

Add finely chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios to boiling milk.

After some time, add the pre-soaked rice to the milk and mix it well with a spoon.

Now add saffron mixed milk to the kheer and mix well.

Cover the pan and let the kheer boil on medium flame.

Saffron rice kheer may take 10-15 minutes to cook completely.

When the rice is cooked well, turn off the flame. Your Kesar Kheer is ready to serve.
