Food is an important part of life and everyone wants their food to be tasty and also beneficial for health. In present times, great attention is being given to food. Today we will share with you the method of making protein-rich soya biryani. This delicious dish will satisfy you in all respects and you can make it for lunch or dinner. Its taste and excellent aroma will whet the appetite. Both adults and children will like it. So let's know about its recipe.

Ingredients for Marinate

Soya chunks - 1 cup

Thick curd - 1 cup

Potato - 1-2

Capsicum - 1

Onion - 1

Carrot - 1

Turmeric - 1/2 tsp

Red chilli powder - 1 tsp

Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp

Biryani masala powder - 1 tablespoon

salt - as per taste

other ingredients

Rice - 1.5 cups

Fried onion - 3 tbsp

Biryani masala powder - 1/2 tsp

Mint, coriander leaves - 3-4 tbsp

Black pepper - 1/2 tsp

Desi ghee - 2-3 tbsp

Cinnamon - 1 piece

bay leaf - 1

clove - 4-5

star anise - 1

cardamom - 5-6

onions finely chopped - 1

Salt - as per taste

Recipe:

First of all, heat water in a bowl, put soya chunks in it and soak them for 15 minutes.

Squeeze the soaked soya chunks and keep them aside. Add curd in a mixing bowl and beat it well.

Add red chilli powder, biryani masala powder, turmeric, ginger-garlic paste, and salt to the curd and whisk again.

Add soaked soya chunks, chopped carrots, square-cut capsicum, onion, and chopped potatoes to the prepared mixture and mix well.

Keep this mixture in the refrigerator to marinate for 1 hour.

Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pressure cooker. When it gets hot, add bay leaves, cinnamon and all the dry spices and fry.

When the aroma comes from the spices, add chopped onion and fry.

Add ginger-garlic paste and fry further.

Put the marinated soya taken out from the fridge into the cooker, mix the vegetables and spread it well.

Then, add the soaked rice and spread it over the spicy soya. Soak the rice in water for 20-25 minutes and then use it.

Sprinkle fried onions, biryani masala powder, mint, coriander leaves, salt, and 1 tsp desi ghee on this layer.

Add 2 cups of water, cover the cooker with a lid and cook the biryani till 2 whistles.

Turn off the gas and wait for the pressure of the cooker to release, then open the lid and take out the soya biryani on a plate.
