Recipe: Prepare a healthy moong dal sandwich in 20 minutes, note down the recipe!

How to make Moong Dal Sandwich:

Material:

1 cup moong dal

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped tomatoes

1/2 cup chopped green chilli

1/4 cup chopped

coriander 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

1 tbsp turmeric powder

1 tbsp red Chilli powder

1 tbsp Coriander powder

1/2 tbsp garam masala

1/2 tbsp Salt

2 tbsp oil

4 slices of bread

Green chutney, for serving

Mayonnaise, for serving (optional)

Recipe:

Wash and soak moong dal. If you are short of time then you can make any sandwich without soaking the lentils.

Add moong dal, 2 cups water and salt in a pressure cooker. Cook the dal in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles. When the pressure reduces, open the cooker and mash the moong dal.

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When cumin starts crackling, add chopped onion to it and fry till it turns golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and garam masala.

Fry the spices for 1 minute. Add tomatoes, green chillies and salt. Cook the vegetables until soft.

Add mashed moong dal and chopped coriander to it. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Turn off the flame.

Spread green chutney and mayonnaise (optional) on bread slices. Then spread the moong dal mixture on the bread slices.

Cut the sandwich into two parts. Serve moong dal sandwiches with green chutney and mayonnaise (optional).
