Recipe of the Day: Tamarind rice is very tasty, make it with this method
- 4 cups cooked rice
- 2 tbsp urad dal
- 1 cup peanuts (roasted)
- 8 tbsp tamarind paste
- 4 chopped green chillies
- 2 tsp jaggery
- 4 dried red chillies
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp spoon mustard seeds
- 2 pinch asafoetida
- 10 curry leaves
You can prepare it in this way:
First of all, mix turmeric and salt in rice in a vessel.
Now heat oil in a pan and fry urad dal and peanuts in it.
Now fry curry leaves, mustard seeds, green chillies and red chillies in it.
Now add asafoetida, jaggery, tamarind paste and salt to this mixture and cook.
Now add cooked rice into it.
In this way your tamarind rice becomes delicious.
