Recipe of the Day: Sweet Mathri makes any festival special, make it with this recipe

Required Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup hot ghee 
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped pistachios
  • 1 tbsp chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup hot water or as required
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Oil for frying

You can prepare it by this method: 

First of all, put flour in a vessel, add ghee and salt to it and knead this mixture with hot water. 

After half an hour, make small balls of this dough and make Mathri. 

Now heat oil in a pan and fry the mathris till they turn golden. 

Now make sugar syrup. 

Now dip some of the hot mathris in the syrup and take them out in a plate. 

Now add dry fruits and taste them.
