Recipe of the Day: Ram laddus are very tasty, make them with this method
- 1/2 bowl chana dal
- 1/2 bowl moong dal
- 2-3 green chillies
- 1/4 bowl chopped coriander leaves
- 1 inch ginger
- 1/4 tbsp salt
- 1/4 tbsp black salt
- 1 thickly grated radish
- 1 /2 bowl finely chopped radish leaves
- 1 tbsp dry mango powder
- 1 lemon juice
- 1/4 tbsp asafoetida
You can make it with this method:
First of all wash both the pulses and soak them for 3-4 hours. Now drain the water and put it in the blending jar. Grind them coarsely by adding green chillies, ginger, asafoetida and 1-2 tbsp water.
Now mix coarsely grated radish and finely chopped radish leaves in a bowl.
Prepare chutney by adding radish leaves, coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger, lemon juice, salt, black salt, dried mango powder, cumin seeds and 2-3 tablespoons of water in a blending jar.
Now add salt and chutney to the dal and mix it well.
Now heat the oil, make laddoos from the paste and fry till it becomes golden brown.
Now taste these Ram Laddoos with grated radish and black salt and green chutney.
