  1. Jackfruit - 300 grams
  2. Green chili - 2 finely chopped
  3. Ginger - 1-inch long piece
  4. Green Coriander - finely chopped
  5. salt - as per taste
  6. Gram flour - two tablespoons
  7. Oil - for frying the koftas
  8. Tomato - 2
  9. Green chili - 2-3
  10. Ginger - 1-inch long piece
  11. Cashew - 9-10
  12. Cumin - half a teaspoon
  13. Turmeric powder - half teaspoon
  14. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  15. Red chili powder - 1/4 tsp
  16. salt - as per taste
  17. Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  18. Green coriander - one tablespoon


  • Cut the jackfruit into big pieces. Put some water in the jackfruit and keep it in the cooker to boil. Turn off the gas when one whistle comes. Now take it out and mix it well. Mix jackfruit, green chilies, ginger, green coriander, salt, and gram flour well. The mixture for making koftas is ready.
  • Now put oil in the pan and heat it. Take a little mixture from the mixture and put it in the hot oil. Fry all the koftas one by one till they turn brown. Koftas are ready. To make its curry, soak cashews in water for half an hour. Grind tomatoes, green chilies, ginger, and cashews finely in a mixie.
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add cumin, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder to the hot oil. Now add ground tomato-cashew paste and fry till oil separates. Now put a glass of water and salt. Let the curry come to a boil, now add garam masala and green coriander to it. Put the koftas in the curry and cover it.
  • Your jackfruit koftas are ready. Serve it with paratha, naan, or rice and eat.
