Recipe of the Day: Make Badam Puri on Shitalashtami, this is the method

After Holi, people are now waiting for Shitalashtami. A day before this festival, many types of dishes are prepared in homes. Today we are going to tell you the method of making Karnataka's popular sweet dish Badam Puri. You can do this at the festival of Shitalashtami. 

Required Ingredients: 

  • Twenty kernel almonds
  • ten cups of flour
  • two tablespoons of saffron soaked in milk
  • oil,
  • sugar
  • two teaspoons of orange food colour
  • eight teaspoons of ghee
  • six cups of water
  • almonds (for garnishing)

You can prepare it in this way: 

First of all, grind the soaked almonds and make a paste.

Now mix flour, salt, saffron, orange food colour, almond paste and water in a vessel and knead the mixture.

Now apply ghee to this flour and roll the roti. 

Now fold and roll this roti. 

Cut it into small pieces with a knife and roll them again. 

Now make sugar syrup in a pan. 

Heat oil in a pan and fry the puris in it. 

Now soak the puris in sugar syrup for some time, take them out on a plate and garnish with almonds.

In this way your almond puri becomes complete.
