Recipe of the Day: Maharashtra street food Kanda Poha is very tasty, make it with this method


Ingredients required

  • 1.5 cup poha
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp coriander finely chopped
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp sesame seeds pinch asafoetida
  • curry leaves
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/4 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp peanuts
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup peas
  • 2 chillies finely chopped

You can make it with this method:

Wash all the poha and remove the water. Now add sugar, lemon juice and chopped coriander to it.

Now heat oil in a pan and fry peanuts on low flame.

Add mustard, sesame, a pinch of asafoetida and some curry leaves to the same oil and temper it.

Now fry green chillies, onions and peas in it till they become soft.

Then add turmeric and salt to it.

Now add poha and all the remaining ingredients.

After five minutes add peanuts and pomegranate seeds and taste it.
