Recipe: Non-veg eaters will also like Jackfruit Korma, try it once!

Have you ever tasted jackfruit korma? This is such a vegetable which even non-veg people like. You can easily make it at home. Today we are going to tell you about its recipe.

Material

Boiled jackfruit – 1/2 kg

Finely chopped onion – 2

Tomato paste – 4 tbsp

Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tsp

Butter – 2 tsp

Red chilli powder – 1 tsp

Coriander powder – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/2 spoon

garam masala - 1/2 spoon

kasoori fenugreek - 2 spoon

bay leaves - 2

cumin seeds - 1 spoon

salt as per taste

sugar - 1 spoon

Recipe :

-Take a pan, add oil to it and heat it.

- When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds to it. When they start crackling, add chopped onion and bay leaf and fry until the onion turns light brown.

-Add ginger-garlic paste to it and fry for about five minutes.

Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Stir and cook for about 2 minutes.

-Add tomato paste to the mixture and cook until the spices mix well.

-When the gravy starts releasing oil, it indicates that the masala has been cooked well.

Now add butter to it and fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add Kasoori Methi, salt, and sugar and mix well.

- Add boiled jackfruit to this gravy and mix well with the spices.

- Add about one and a half cups of water, cover the pan and let it cook on high flame for about five minutes.

-After five minutes, open the lid and check whether the jackfruit korma is cooked well or not.

-After cooking, turn off the flame. Your jackfruit korma is ready. Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
