In such a situation, you can include the recipe for wheat porridge in your diet. We are telling you the method of making Masala Porridge. This dish is not only delicious in taste but also a very good breakfast in terms of health. The special thing is that you can make this dish in a pressure cooker very easily and in less time.

Ingredients required

Oatmeal 2 bowls

½ cup Carrots finely chopped

Onion - ½ cup finely chopped

1½ cups Beans finely

chopped Cabbage - ½ cup finely chopped

Potatoes cut into 2 cubes

Green chilies finely chopped

4 tbsp Ghee

Coriander powder 3 tbsp

Cumin powder 1 tsp

Asafoetida 2 pinches

Salt as per taste

1 cinnamon, cardamom, black cardamom

1 tsp cumin seeds

Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp

Kashmiri red chili

How to make porridge?

First of all, put the pressure cooker on the gas and let it heat up. Now put oatmeal in it and fry till the aroma comes. Now keep it aside on a plate. Now put oil or ghee in the pressure cooker and when hot add dry garam masala and asafoetida. When lightly roasted, add all the dry spices and fry them. Now add potato, carrot, soybean, peas, cabbage, etc. to it and add salt along with it. Add a little water as required so that the masala does not burn. Now add oatmeal and mix well.

Now pour 4 cups of water into two bowls of porridge and cover the pressure cooker. Let it cook on medium heat. After 2 whistles, turn off the gas and wait till the whistle rings. Masala porridge is ready. You can add mushrooms, paneer, etc. as per your taste. When the pressure is released, add coriander leaves and serve hot. You can also serve curd or buttermilk with it.
