1/2 tsp Red chili powder

1/2 tsp Garam masala

Instructions for making Veg Biryani:

Firstly, cook the rice till cooked. While the rice is cooking, cut the green vegetables into small pieces. Set aside the onion, garlic, chili, and coriander for later.

Heat some oil in a deep pan.

When the oil is hot, add chopped onion, garlic, chili, and ginger to it. Fry them till they turn golden brown.

When they become golden, add the rest of the vegetables and fry while stirring. When all the ingredients are roasted well, add turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt as per your taste.

Continue to fry till the spices are well coated with the vegetables. Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

In an ovenproof dish, spread evenly half of the cooked rice. Pour the cooked vegetable mixture over it. Then, add the remaining rice as a second layer.

Sprinkle garam masala and biryani masala on top. Sprinkle some lemon juice in it to enhance the taste.

Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or till the biryani is cooked through.

Once done, take out the biryani from the oven, garnish it with fresh coriander, and serve hot.
