Many types of dishes are prepared in homes on Holi. Papad is also prepared in many homes on this day. You must have consumed dal papad, potato papad, rice papad, sago papad etc. many times. Material:

Boiled potatoes

1 cup arrowroot

Black pepper finely ground

Celery

Nigella seeds

Salt

Water

Oil

Large flat pan for making papad

Instruction:

Mash the boiled potatoes well.

In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup arrowroot with 6 cups water.

Add salt, celery, nigella and finely ground black pepper to the arrowroot-water mixture.

Cook this mixture on low flame while stirring continuously.

As soon as it starts thickening or forming lumps, add water to it and dilute it.

Visually, this papad batter should be thin but thick.

Once the batter is ready, spread a foil in the sun and apply light oil on it.

Then with the help of a spoon add the papad batter and spread it giving it a shape.

Spread all the batter in the same manner.

After this, dry the papad by keeping it in the sun for a few days every day. When it dries, put it in oil, fry it and enjoy. Let us tell you that while making papad, keep in mind that add less salt to it. There is not much salt or spices in papad. Due to this, its taste gets spoiled.
