Finely chopped Green Onion – 4 Tablespoon

finely chopped capsicum - 1/4 cup

Chili sauce - 1 tablespoon

Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon

Tomato sauce - 2 tablespoon

Vinegar - 1 tablespoon

Oil for frying

Salt as per taste

How to make Soya Manchurian:

To make delicious Soya Manchurian, first, take a big bowl and add 3 cups of hot water to it. Then soak 1 cup soya chunks in hot water for 15 minutes. After the stipulated time, take out the soya chunks from the hot water and squeeze out the excess water. Add soya chunks to a mixing bowl.

Now, add ginger-garlic paste, cornflour, flour, and one teaspoon of Kashmiri red chili powder to the soya chunks. Finally, add salt as per taste and mix all the spices well. If necessary, you can add a tablespoon of water to ensure that all the spices coat the soya chunks evenly.

Once the spices are mixed well with the soya chunks, heat the oil in a wok or deep frying pan. When the oil is hot, add soya chunks to it and deep fry it. Be careful not to over-fry them; They should be crisp but not too crisp. You can also choose to shallow fry them for a healthier option. After frying, take out the soya chunks in a bowl.

Take three tablespoons of oil in another pan and heat it. Add finely chopped garlic to it and fry until it turns golden brown. After this, add finely chopped onion and green onion and fry them also. When the onion starts becoming soft, add chopped capsicum to it and fry for some time. Then add chili sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, tomato sauce, and a pinch of salt as per your taste. Stir everything together and cook on high flame.

Continue cooking until the mixture becomes soft. At this time, add the fried soya chunks and mix them well with the sauce. After cooking for a few more minutes, turn off the flame.

Your delicious Soya Manchurian is now ready to serve. You can garnish it with green onions and serve it hot. Enjoy your homemade Chinese cuisine!
