Ingredients for Rajma Masala:

To make Rajma Masala, you will need 1 cup Rajma, 1/4 cup tomato puree, 4 tbsp finely chopped onion, 1/2 tbsp garlic paste, 1/2 tbsp ginger paste, 4 large spoon curd, 1/2 tbsp coriander powder, 1/2 tbsp kasoori fenugreek powder, 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder, salt (as required), 1/2 tbsp cumin powder, 1/2 tbsp cumin, 1 /4 tbsp turmeric and 1 tbsp refined oil will be required. By mixing all these things you can prepare delicious Rajma Masala.

An easy method to make Rajma Masala:

  • To make this delicious Rajma recipe, soak Rajma in water for about 8 hours. Then take a pressure cooker and add kidney beans, water, and salt. Cook the soaked rajma with salt for about 20 minutes or until soft. Later, take out the kidney beans and keep them in a container.
  • Now put a pan on the gas and heat refined oil in it. Cook for about 2-3 minutes. Mix all the ingredients well and then add curd in the pan. Cook on low flame for 2 minutes.
  • After this, add tomato puree and turmeric powder to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes. Keep stirring the ingredients so that they do not stick to the bottom of the pan. Then add coriander powder, cumin powder, kasoori methi powder, and chili powder to the pan. Cook until oil floats on the surface.
  • Now add boiled kidney beans to the pan and add salt. Cook the dish on low flame for about 15 minutes. In this way your Rajma Masala is ready. You can also add chopped coriander and garam masala powder to it. You can also add a little cream. Now you can serve this delicious Rajma recipe with rice or roti.
