Paneer Kali Mirch, also known as Paneer Pepper Curry, is a creamy and delicious Indian dish made with paneer and black pepper. It is a popular vegetarian dish that can be enjoyed with naan, roti, or rice. Here's the easy recipe to make Paneer Kali Mirch:


200 grams paneer, cut into cubes

1 tablespoon ghee or oil

1 teaspoon cumin

seeds 1 large onion, finely chopped

1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

1 teaspoon black pepper powder

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon coriander Powder

1/2 cup fresh cream

Salt to taste

Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

  • Heat ghee or oil in a pan on medium heat.
  • Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • Add chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute till the raw smell goes away.
  • Add black pepper powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. mix well.
  • Add the paneer cubes to the pan and stir gently to coat them with the spices.
  • Lower the flame and add fresh cream. Mix well and cook for a few minutes till the gravy thickens.
  • After this, cook for another 2-3 minutes, while stirring occasionally, till the paneer is nicely heated through with a nice creamy sauce.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
