Ingredients to make Makhana Kheer:

2 cups makhana

2 tbsp ghee

A pinch of cardamom powder

1-liter milk

Sugar to taste

Almonds, pistachios, cashews (cut into pieces)

How to make makhana kheer:

- Heat a pan and add some ghee to it.

Fry the makhana in ghee until it turns light brown.

-Put 1 liter of milk in a deep pan and boil. When the milk boils, add roasted makhana to it.

-While the makhana is boiling in milk, take another pan, add all the dry fruits in it, and fry them in ghee.

-Makhana should dissolve completely in milk. When the makhana starts becoming soft and the kheer starts thickening, add all the roasted dry fruits to it.

-Continue stirring until the kheer thickens to the desired consistency.

-After this add cardamom powder and sugar to the kheer and mix well. then turn off the flame
