Recipe:- Make gram kebabs like this and make your Diwali special!

Kebabs look fun to eat. To make it more healthy, use gram. Its kebabs are very tasty and healthy to eat.


2 cups black gram

1/2 cup bread crumbs

2 onions, finely chopped

1 capsicum, finely chopped

2 boiled potatoes

2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

2 tbsp coriander leaves

1/2 tsp dry mango powder

1/2 tsp garam masala Masala

1/2 tsp cumin powder

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp chaat masala

as required Water

Salt as per taste

Oil for cooking kebabs




To make gram kebabs, first, soak the black gram in water for 5-6 hours.

After soaking the gram, drain the water and wash them thoroughly.

Then pressure cook the gram with 1 cup of water for 5-6 whistles.

When the pressure in the cooker is released, strain the gram.

Mash the gram in a mixing bowl and add red chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder, dry mango powder, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, boiled potatoes, capsicum, bread crumbs and salt as per taste. Mix everything well and mash the potatoes.

Apply some oil on your palms and shape the mixture into kebabs.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the kebabs until they become crisp and golden brown on both sides.

Sprinkle chaat masala on kebabs for added flavour.

Serve gram kebab with green and red chutney.
