Dal Makhani is a dish that people like to eat most in restaurants and dhabas. But you can also make dal makhani at home like dhaba or restaurant. Let us know about its recipe.
Here is a simple recipe to make Dal Makhani:
Material:
1 cup black urad dal
3 teaspoon kidney
beans 1 big onion, finely chopped
Half cup tomato puree
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
3-4 teaspoons fresh cream
4 teaspoon butter
1/2 teaspoon cumin
chopped green chili
1-inch piece cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
2-3 cloves
2 cardamoms
Nutmeg powder, 1/4 tsp
Salt as per taste
Recipe:
Firstly, wash black urad dal and rajma and soak them overnight.
Next day, wash the pulses again and put them in the pressure cooker. Add 2 cups water and cook for 6-7 whistles. Cooking on low flame will turn the dal into mush.
Heat butter in a pan. Add cumin, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and fry.
Now add ginger garlic paste and chopped onion and cook till it turns golden.
Then add tomato puree, turmeric, salt, and red chili powder and mix all the spices. Cook until the oil rises.
Now add cooked lentils to it and cook for 10 minutes.
Finally, add nutmeg powder and fresh cream.
Serve hot Dal Makhani with naan or rice and enjoy the delicious taste.
