Necessary ingredients

- 200 g fine vermicelli

- 100 g Beans

- 50 g Roasted peanuts

- 2 Onion finely chopped

- 2 Carrot finely chopped -

2 Tomato puree -

1 tsp Turmeric powder

- 1 cup Peas

- 1 tsp Salt (to taste)

- 1 spoon urad dal

- 1 spoon mustard seeds

- 4 spoons refined oil

- 1 spoon of cumin

- 8-10 curry leaves

- 4 green chilies



To make vermicelli, first finely chop onions, tomatoes, beans, and carrots, and after that grind tomatoes and make a puree.

- Place the pan on the gas and put vermicelli inside it and fry till it becomes golden. After this, take out the roasted vermicelli on a plate.

Take a pan, add some oil inside it, and heat it. Then fry mustard seeds, urad dal, and cumin seeds inside it. After this add green chilies and curry leaves.

Then add chopped onion to it and fry for some time. After the onion is fried, add turmeric and salt to it. Now mix it.

After this, add peas and chopped carrots and let them cook for some time. After this, add tomato puree and two cups of water inside it. Wait till it boils.

Lastly, add vermicelli inside it and mix it well and let it cook for at least 10 minutes. When the water dries up and the vermicelli becomes soft, then turn off the gas.

Then add green chilies and roasted peanuts to it and mix well. Your Sevai Upma is ready.
