Ingredients for making coconut barfi

Coconut flakes 250 grams

Powdered sugar 100 grams

Milk 1 cup

Milk powder 100 grams

Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon

Chopped pistachios 1 teaspoon

How to make coconut barfi

First of all, put the coconut powder in a mixie jar and grind it.

Then put them in a pan, add powdered sugar and a cup of milk, and mix well.


Keeping this mixture on medium flame, you have to keep stirring till it becomes thick.

Then add milk powder and cardamom powder to it and mix.

Cook this mixture for three more minutes. Keep stirring it continuously otherwise it will start sticking to the pan.

After this, take a plate and put butter paper on it and turn this mixture over it.

Then flatten this mixture by pressing it with a spoon so that it becomes smooth. Put chopped pistachios on top and press again a little so that the pistachios stick well in them.

Keep it to cool down for some time and then cut it into small pieces.

Yummy coconut barfi is ready.
