Pickles enhance the taste of any dish, so much so that if one day your favourite vegetable is not available, eating pickles can compensate for it. The presence of pickles further enhances the taste of the food. Today we have brought the recipe of Carr's pickle for you.

Carr (Tanti) - 250 grams

Mustard - 2 tbsp

Asafoetida - 2-3 pinches

Red chilli - 1/4 tsp

Mustard oil - 1/2 cup

Vinegar - 1 tbsp Turmeric

Salt - as per taste

Recipe:

First of all, break the stalk of the carrot and wash it thoroughly with clean water.

Then put it in a vessel and fill it with enough water that the car is completely immersed in it.

Cover the container and keep it in the sun. Change the water every two days.

You will start feeling the change in the colour of your hair in 5 days. Its green colour will change to yellow.

Filter the water and keep the curry in the sun until it dries completely.

Once the sorrel is dry, strain it and keep it in the sun for a few days until all the moisture is gone.

Heat mustard oil in a pan until smoke starts coming out from it. Let it cool.

Lightly heat mustard oil in a separate pan and add turmeric powder, asafoetida, sorrel leaves, salt and red chilli powder.

Mix well and add vinegar to the pickle. Mix properly.

When the pickle is mixed, take it out and keep it in a glass container.

Keep stirring the pickle daily. In 8-10 days it will be ready to eat with a spicy taste.
