8th March is Mahashivratri fast. On this day most people observe fast and worship Lord Bholenath. Satvik food is consumed during the fast. Many people eat sago during fasting. Some people make sago khichdi, while others make kheer and vada from sago. However, making sago dishes usually requires soaking the sago for several hours. Today we will share the recipe of Sabudana Barfi which does not require soaking and you can make it instantly. So let's know about its recipe.

Ingredients to make Sabudana Barfi without soaking:

-Take 1 cup of medium-sized sago and grind it finely with the help of a mixer.

- Now add one big-sized boiled potato or two finely grated potatoes.

-Add 2 finely chopped green chillies, and some roasted and crushed peanuts.

-Add finely chopped coriander, 1 teaspoon cumin and a little crushed black pepper and mix.

-To prepare the mixture, mix all the ingredients well with your hands.

Now spread the prepared mixture on a greased plate and freeze it like a thick layer of barfi.

-To set the mixture well, keep the plate in the freezer for about half an hour.

- Cut the mixture into barfi shapes and fry in oil.

While adding the gas flame, keep it high and then after it turns a little brown, reduce the gas flame to medium.

-Let the barfi cook well from both sides. Due to this they will become nicely crispy.

-You can eat it with tea or green coriander chutney.
