Recipe: Make Chili Potatoes at home, you will forget the restaurant taste!
Tasty and easy Garlic Chili Potatoes are made with boiled potatoes, garlic, chili sauce, and honey, sprinkled with spring onions and sesame seeds. Today we have brought its recipe for you.
1 Tbsp oil
4 dry red chilies whole
2 Tbsp garlic freshly minced
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup bell peppers mixed colors, cut into 1" squares
3 Tbsp red chili paste or schezwan chutney
1 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp vinegar
½ tsp salt to taste
1 lb baby potatoes boiled
3 green onions, divided
1 tbsp cornstarch
⅓ cup water
1 tsp honey optional
1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish
Heat oil in a wok or pan on high flame. Add dry red chilies, garlic, and onions. Fry for 2-3 minutes till the onions turn translucent and start to turn light brown.
Add capsicum and fry for one more minute.
Add soya sauce, vinegar, red chili paste, and salt and mix well. Add boiled potatoes and fry for 4-5 minutes. Stir them and scrape them off the bottom of the pan.
- Mix cornflour in water until it forms a smooth texture. Add it to the potatoes along with half the green onions.
- Until they mix well and the cornflour is cooked for about 2 minutes. Switch off the flame. Add honey, if using.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. serve immediately
