Potato is a vegetable that is available in the market throughout the year. Potato pairs well with any other vegetable and can be used to make various dishes. Today we are talking about cumin and potato vegetables which are very much liked by children. This dish is very easy to make and gets ready in less time. Let us know how you can make it.


5 boiled potatoes

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

1 teaspoon dry mango powder

1 tablespoon chopped coriander

1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder


Salt as per taste


-First of all, boil the potatoes and peel them. Cut them into small pieces.

-Keep them separate in a bowl. Now take a pan and heat oil in it on medium flame.

When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and let it splutter.

Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, dry mango powder, and salt to the pan and mix well. Fry for 1 to 2 minutes.

Now add chopped potatoes to the roasted spices and let it cook for 9-10 minutes on low flame.

-Keep stirring the vegetables occasionally while cooking.

- When the potatoes become golden brown, add chopped coriander on top and turn off the flame.

-Jeera potato curry is ready. It can be served with roti, paratha, or puri.
