The snacks available in Indore are famous all over the world. Its taste is very amazing. But you can also make Indori-flavored garlic sev at home. So let's know about its recipe.


2 cups gram flour

7-8 garlic cloves

1 tsp red chilli powder

1/4 tsp turmeric

oil (for frying)

1/4 tsp baking soda

Salt as per taste


First of all, peel the garlic and grind it in a mixer. Make garlic paste by adding some water.

Filter the gram flour through a sieve and take it out in a vessel.

In a large mixing bowl or plate, mix sifted gram flour, garlic paste, and red chili powder.

Add turmeric, salt, baking soda, and 1 tablespoon oil and mix.

Knead by adding water little by little, so that the dough is neither too wet nor too tight.

Cover the kneaded dough with a cotton cloth and keep it aside for some time.

Heat oil in a pan.

When the oil becomes hot, place a plate in the sev making machine and after applying oil on your hands, take a little dough and put it in the machine.

If you don't have a machine, you can use a big ladle with holes instead.

Now make sev in the pan while rotating the machine with hands. After this, fry the sev until their color becomes golden brown.

After this, take out the sev in a vessel. Similarly, make sev from all the flour and fry it.
