Rajasthan is known for its rich cultural heritage and diverse culinary cuisine. One such traditional and delicious dish of this region is the famous Ker Sangri ki Sabzi. This dish is made with ker berries and sangri beans. Let us learn how to make this Rajasthani dish.

Material:

250 grams sangri

10 grams

salt as per taste

2 tbsp red chilli powder

3 tbsp coriander powder

1/2 tsp turmeric 

1/2 tbsp asafoetida 

1/4 tbsp mustard 

1/4 tbsp cumin 

2 bay leaves 

2 whole red chillies 1 tbsp 

Dry mango powder 1 tbsp 

Garam masala 4 tbsp oil

Method:

Start by soaking the ker sangri in water for an hour.

Boil them in a vessel until they become soft. Drain the water and keep it aside.

Heat oil in a pan. For tempering, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, bay leaves, whole red chillies and fry.

In a separate bowl, make a paste of all the spices with the help of water.

Add this spice paste to the pan and mix well. Cook until the oil separates from the spices.

Now add boiled ker sangri to the pan and mix well. Adjust the consistency by adding water if necessary.

Let it boil on a medium flame for about 10 minutes. -When the masala is cooked well, turn off the gas.

Now your Shahi Sabzi is ready to serve. Enjoy this delicious dish with missi roti or any bread of your choice.
