Everyone likes cheese very much. You can make paneer in many ways. Today we are going to tell you about the recipe of Palak Paneer which is very healthy. Let us know how you can make it at home.
500 grams washed spinach
200 grams paneer (grated)
2 tablespoons Chana dal
1 big onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes finely chopped
1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
1 tablespoon finely chopped green chilies or as per taste
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste
* Mix the chana dal with half a cup of water in a pressure cooker and pressure cook it on high flame for 4 whistles and then cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid of the pressure cooker.
* Add washed spinach leaves to the cooked chana dal and cook for 1-2 minutes till the spinach leaves are cooked.
* Keep it aside to cool down. After it cools down, make a smooth paste with the help of a hand blender. If necessary add some water before mixing.
* Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic and onion and fry till golden brown.
*Add chopped tomatoes, ginger, green chilies, and salt. Cook on the high flame while stirring continuously till the mixture leaves oil.
*Add the blended spinach and paneer cubes. Mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
